Oops. Sorry about that. For some reason when I was looking at the baseball scores tonight, I thought they had put a football score in with the baseball scores.

In all seriousness, I had an idea of what was going on because Anthony was doing our radio show from Camden Yards tonight and was giving us score updates. When the show ended it was the Rangers 24 and the Orioles 3. When the game ended, the Rangers had won the game 30-3.

The 30 runs by the Rangers is a modern day MLB record and is also the American League record. It is also the most runs scored in a game by a team since June 29, 1897 when the Chicago Colts (now as the Cubs) put up a 36 spot on the Louisville Colonels.

The heroes of the game for the Rangers were anyone who played for them. Jarrod Saltalamacchia and Ramon Vazquez were 4-6 with 2 homers and 7 RBIs.

And btw, that was only the first game of a doubleheader. Texas put up 9 more runs in the second game to win that one as well.
