Major League Baseball has announced it’s American League Player of the Week for May 14th to May 20th and it is none other than our very own Daisuke Matsuzaka. This is the first award he was in America and I am sure that it won’t be his last.He is the first Sox player to win it since Big Papi won his for the week of August 6th last season.
In his 2 starts last week, Dice-K was 2-0, threw 17 innings, allowed 4 runs, walked none and struck out 17 opposing hitters.
Congratulation to Matsuzaka-san. It is well deserved.
