Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett was suspended by the NBA for one game for his conduct in Saturday’s game in Milwaukee when he struck Andrew Bogut in the face. The league changed the fouls on Garnett and Bogut to Flagrant Foul Penalty One for their actions in the fourth quarter. But it appears only Garnett was suspended. Bogut earned in ejection for the confrontation because it was his second technical of the game.
Garnett will have to sit out Tuesday’s game at home against the New York Knicks. Last season Garnett, the unabashed emotional leader for the Green, missed 9 games with an abdominal strain and Boston went 7-2 without him.
