The latest NCAA college football polls are out and the Alabama Crimson Tide are almost the unanimous No. 1 team in the land.
They received all of the first place votes in the AP Poll and 58 of 59 in the USA Today Coaches’ Poll. Oregon, ranked No. 2 in both polls, received the other vote in the Coaches’ Poll.
The Crimson Tide and Ducks are followed by the South Carolina Gamecocks, Florida Gators and West Virginia Mountaineers in the AP Poll. In the Coaches’ Poll, they are followed by South Carolina, West Virginia and the Kansas State Wildcats.
The Big East is represented by three teams in the both polls. They are the Louisville Cardinals (18/16), Rutgers Scarlet Knights (20/19) and the Cincinnati Bearcats (21/20).
There are no Big East teams among the others receiving votes in either poll.
