Yu Darvish #11 of the Texas Rangers reacts after Alex Rios commited an error on a fly by David Ortiz #34 of the Boston Red Sox in the 7th inning at Globe Life Park in Arlington on May 9, 2014 in Arlington, Texas.

The Boston Red Sox saw how good Yu Darvish was on Friday night. He was so good for the Texas Rangers that the Red Sox were almost no hit.

Fortunately for the Red Sox, that didn’t happen as David Ortiz broke up the no hitter twice. The first time was ruled an error. However the second time came with two outs in the 9th when he singled through the shift.

It didn’t batter though as the Rangers battered Clay Buchholz in an 8-0 win.

Darvish struck out 12 and walked two over 8.2 innings. Alexi Ogando finished off the shutout for him.

Buchholz was terrible again as he allowed six runs on 10 hits and two walks while striking out three over 4.1 innings.
