If the initial diagnosis of John Lackey's arm injury is any indication, he and the Boston Red Sox should consider themselves lucky.
After throwing a pitch to Jose Reyes in the 5th inning, Lackey left the game with his right arm hanging there, eerily reminiscent of when a pitcher tears the UCL or does something to their shoulder.
But we'll wait for that.
As much as we all hate Lackey, it was awful to see him hurt like that. Hopefully things turn out okay for him.
