Felix Doubront (L), A.J. Griffin (R)

After being embarrassed last night 20-2, the Boston Red Sox look to keep their dignity tonight in the second game of a three-game set with the Oakland A’s at O.co Coliseum in Oakland, CA.

First pitch is scheduled for 10:05 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on NESN in the Red Sox television market. If you live in the Athletics television market, you can catch the game on Comcast California. And if you don’t live in either market you’re in luck as well as the MLB Network will have coverage of the game (outside of Red Sox and A’s television markets). If you can’t catch the television broadcast, you can always listen to it on the Red Sox radio network.

Felix Doubront steps on the hill for the 24th time in 2012. In his previous 23 starts, Doubront is 10-6 with a 4.79 ERA. His lone career start against the A’s came earlier this season when he took the loss after allowing five runs in four innings of work back on May 1st at the Fens.

Rookie A.J. Griffin makes his ninth start of 2012 tonight. In his previous eight starts, Griffin is 3-0 with a 2.42 ERA. He picked up a no decision in his only career start against the Red Sox earlier this season when he allowed two runs in six innings of work.
