Afternoon Red Sox Delight – 5/21

After falling last night, the Boston Red Sox look to get back on the winning side of things in the middle game of a three-game set with the Chicago White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field on the south side of the Windy City.

First pitch is scheduled for 8:10 p.m. If you live in the Red Sox television market you can catch the game on NESN. If you live in the White Sox television market, you can catch the game on WCIU. And if you can't catch the game on television, you can always listen on the 2013 Red Sox Radio Network.

Felix Doubront makes his seventh start (eighth appearance) of 2013. In his previous seven appearances (six starts), Doubront is 3-1 with a 6.03 ERA. His lone two career starts against the Chisox came last year when he went 2-0 with a 3.00 ERA (4 ER/12 IP). He picked up the win in his lone start on the south side after allowing three runs in six innings of work.

Jose Quintana makes his ninth start of 2013. In his previous eight starts, he is 2-1 with a 3.97 ERA. His lone career start against the Red Sox came in 2012 when he picked up a no decision after eight shutout innings.
