Jered Weaver (L), Clay Buchholz (R)

After salvaging the finale of their series against the Seattle Mariners on Sunday in walkoff fashion, the Boston Red Sox continue their 11-game homestand with a four-game set against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim at Fenway Park.

First pitch for tonight’s game is at 7:10 p.m. and the game will be televised by NESN in the Red Sox television market. If you live in the Angels television market, you can catch the game on FoxSports West. And if you can’t catch the television broadcast, you can always listen to the game on the 2011 Red Sox Radio Network.

After being scratched on Sunday with the flu, Clay Buchholz makes his 6th start of 2011. In his previous five starts, Buchholz is 1-3 with a 5.33 ERA. He didn’t pitch against the Angels in Anaheim when they were there in late April but he was 3-0 with a 2.29 ERA against them in three starts last season. He’s made six career starts against the Halos and is 4-2 with a 4.17 ERA. Four of those starts have come at Fenway where he is 3-1 with a 4.32 ERA.

Like his counterpart, Jered Weaver was also scratched on Sunday with the flu. He’s made six starts this season and is a perfect 6-0 with a 0.99 ERA (5 ER/45.2 IP). He also didn’t pitch against the Red Sox when they were in Anaheim and was 0-2 with a 6.00 ERA in two starts against them in 2010. He’s made ten career starts against the Red Sox and is 2-4 with a 4.40 ERA. Five of those starts have come at Fenway where he is 1-2 with a 7.76 ERA.
