Afternoon Red Sox Delight – 5/10

After losing three-of-four to the Minnesota Twins, the Boston Red Sox look to get back on track tonight in the first game of a three-game set with the Toronto Blue Jays at historic Fenway Park.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. If you live in the Red Sox television market you can catch the game on NESNplus. If you live in the Blue Jays television market, you can catch the game on Rogers SportsNet. And if you can't catch the game on television, you can always listen on the 2013 Red Sox Radio Network.

Jon Lester looks to keep his record perfect in his eighth start of 2013. In his previous seven starts, Lester is 4-0 with a 3.30 ERA.  He's made two starts against the Jays in 2013 and is 1-0 with a 3.46 (5 ER/13 IP). He's made 24 career starts against the visiting nine and is 12-7 with a 3.82 ERA.

The crafty well-traveled veteran Ramon Ortiz makes his first start (second appearance) of 2013 for the Jays. In his only appearance, he allowed two runs in 3.1 IP. He last faced the Red Sox in 2004 as a member of the Angels when he made four appearances and was 1-0 with a 5.79 ERA (6 ER/9.1 IP). He's made 12 career appearances (eight starts) against the local nine and is 3-3 with a 4.67 ERA. Six of those appearances (five starts) have come at the Fens where he is 1-2 with a 5.86 ERA.
