Afternoon Red Sox Delight – 4/26

After winning last night 7-2, the Boston Red Sox look to keep it going tonight in the second game of a four-game set with the Houston Astros at historic Fenway Park.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. If you live in the Red Sox television market you can catch the game on NESN. If you live in the Astros television market, you can catch the game on CSN Houston. And if you can't catch the game on television, you can always listen on the 2013 Red Sox Radio Network.

Ryan Dempster looks for his first win in a Red Sox uniform in his fifth start of 2012. In his previous four starts, Dempster is 0-2 with a 3.38 ERA. He last faced the Astros in 2011 as a member of the Chicago Cubs when he went 1-1 with a 3.98 ERA in three starts. He's made 51 career appearances (25 starts) against the Astros and is 6-12 with a 4.32 ERA.

One-time member of the Red Sox Erik Bedard makes his fourth start (fifth appearance) of 2013. In his previous four appearances (three starts), Bedard is 0-1 with a 6.17 ERA. He last faced the Red Sox in 2008 as a member of the Seattle Mariners when he went 1-0 with a 0.75 ERA in two starts. He's made 13 career appearances (12 starts) against the Red Sox and is 5-4 with a 4.25 ERA. He's made 11 starts at the Fens (five of those came in 2011 as a member of the Red Sox) where he is 3-4 with a 5.19 ERA.
