Left Coast Red Sox Delight – 7/5

After sweeping the San Diego Padres, the Boston Red Sox head out to the left coast for a 10 games in 10 days road trip. Tonight they'll kick it off with the first game of a three-game set with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim at Angel Stadium of Anaheim.

First pitch is scheduled for 10:05 p.m. The game will be broadcast on NESN in the Red Sox television market. If you live in the Angels television market, you can catch the game on Fox Sports West. And if you can't catch the game on television, you can always listen on the 2013 Red Sox Radio Network.

Felix Doubront hits the slab for his 15th start (16th apperance) of 2013. The up and down Doubront is 4-3 with a 4.22 ERA in 15 appearances (14 starts). He took the loss in the first game of a doubleheader on June 8th when he allowed three earned runs in six innings of work. He's made two career appearances (one start) against the Halos and is 0-1 with a 3.86 ERA (3 ER/7 IP). This will be his first apperance/start at Angel Stadium.

C.J. Wilson steps to the bump for the 18th time in 2013. In his previous 17 starts, the social media savvy Wilson is 8-5 with a 3.63 ERA. He pitched in the second game on June 8th and took the loss after allowing four runs (three earned) in five innings of work. Despite that bad start, he's had relatively good success against the visiting nine as he is 5-2 with a 2.85 ERA and three saves in 20 appearances (four starts).
