After being rained out last night, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and Boston Red Sox will play their three game set in two days. First up is the first game of a day/night doubleheader (1:05 p.m., 7:15 p.m.)
First pitch is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. The game will be broadcast on NESN in the Red Sox television market. If you live in the Angels television market, you can catch the game on Fox Sports West. And if you can't catch the game on television, you can always listen on the 2013 Red Sox Radio Network.
Felix Doubront gets the nod in game one as he makes his 10th start (11th appearance). In his previous 10 appearances (nine starts), Doubront is 4-2 with a 4.88 ERA. He's made one career appearance against the Halos and that came in 2010 when he allowed two hits in a scoreless inning of work.
Tommy Hanson makes his seventh start of 2013 for the Angels. In his previous six starts, Hanson is 2-2 with a 4.19 ERA. His lone career start against the Red Sox came in 2009 as a member of the Atlanta Braves when he picked up the win after throwing six shutout innings. Today will mark his first career Fenway Park start.
