After their rally fell short last night, the Boston Red Sox look to take the series tonight in the rubber game of a three-game set with the Texas Rangers at historic Fenway Park.
First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. The game will be broadcast on NESN in the Red Sox television market. If you live in the Rangers television market, you can catch the game on Fox Sports Southwest. And if you can't catch the game on television, you can always listen on the 2013 Red Sox Radio Network.
Jon Lester toes the rubber for the the 13th time in 2013. In his previous 12 starts, Lester is 6-2 with a 3.53 ERA. He picked up a no decision on May 5th against Texas when he allowed three runs in six innings of work. He's made 11 career starts against the Rangers and is 3-3 with a 4.57 ERA. Seven of those starts have come at the Fens where he is 2-3 with a 4.95 ERA.
Derek "Dutch Oven" Holland hits the mound for the 12th time in 2013. In his previous 11 starts, Dutch Oven is 5-2 with a 2.81 ERA. He picked up the win on May 3rd against the Red Sox after throwing eight scoreless innings. He's made six career starts against the local nine and is 5-1 with a 2.41 ERA. Three of those starts have come at the Fens where he is 2-1 with a 2.89 ERA.
