After winning last night, the Boston Red Sox look to do it again this afternoon in the second game of a three-game set with the Oakland Athletics at Fenway Park.

First pitch is scheduled for 1:35 p.m. The game will be broadcast on NESN in the Red Sox television market. If you live in the A’s television market, you can catch the game on Comcast SportsNet California. . And if you can’t catch the game on television, you can always listen on the 2014 Red Sox Radio Network.

Jon Lester toes the rubber for the seventh time in 2014. In his previous six starts, Lester is 2-4 with a 3.10 ERA. Lester made two starts against the A’s in 2013 and was 1-1 with a 4.50 ERA. He’s made 12 career starts against them and is 4-4 with a 4.21 ERA. Six of those starts have come at the Fens where he is 3-0 with a 4.01 ERA.

Tommy Milone makes his fifth start of 2014 for the A’s. In his previous four starts, he is 0-2 with a 4.56 ERA. His lone career start against the local nine came at the Fens in 2012 when he took the loss after allowing eight runs (seven earned) in 4.2 innings of work.
