Mother’s Day Red Sox Delight – 5/12

After falling late in yesterday's game, the Boston Red Sox look to take the series this afternoon in the rubber game of a three-game set with the Toronto Blue Jays at historic Fenway Park.

First pitch is scheduled for 1:35 p.m. If you live in the Red Sox television market you can catch the game on NESN. If you live in the Blue Jays television market, you can catch the game on Rogers SportsNet. If you don't live in either market you're in luck as TBS will have coverage of the game as well. And if you can't catch the game on television, you can always listen on the 2013 Red Sox Radio Network.

Canadian Ryan Dempster takes the hill for the eighth time in 2013. In his previous seven starts, Dempster is 2-3 with a 2.93 ERA. His lone start came against the Jays came two starts agao when he picked up the win after allowing one run in six innings. He became the first Sox Canadian born pitcher to win against the Jays since 1995. He's made four career starts against the Jays and is 1-0 with a 4.12 ERA. This will be his first start against them at the Fens.

Chad Jenkins will make his first start/appearance of 2013. He was 1-3 with a 4.50 ERA in 13 appearances (three starts) in 2012. In his lone appearance of 2012 against the Red Sox, he went 1.1 innings allowing two runs in 1.1 innings of work and received a no decision. This will be his first career Fenway start.
