Sunday Red Sox Delight – 4/21 (Game 2)

After falling earlier this afternoon, the Boston Red Sox look for the series win tonight in the rubber game of a three-game set with the Kansas City Royals at historic Fenway Park.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. If you live in the Red Sox television market you can catch the game on NESN. If you live in the Royals television market, you can catch the game on Fox Sports Kansas City. And if you can't catch the game on television, you can always listen on the 2013 Red Sox Radio Network.

My prediction on the game is a 5-2 Red Sox win.

The Red Sox took advantage of the MLB rule of 26 players for doubleheaders so Allen Webster will make his MLB debut in the second game after being called up from Triple-A Pawtucktet. He's has made two starts for the PawSox and has no record with a 0.90 ERA (1 ER/10 IP).

Jeremy Guthrie makes his fourth start of 2013. In his previous three starts, Guthrie is 2-0 with a 3.20 ERA. He got a no-decision in his only start of 2012 against the Red Sox after allowing seven runs (six earned) in 2.2 innings of work. Guthrie's made 20 career appearances (18 starts) and is 3-8 with a 4.88 ERA. 10 of those appearances (nine starts) have come at the Fens where he is 1-4 with a 6.62 ERA.
