Dominique Easley #2 of the Florida Gators celebrates after sacking Teddy Bridgewater #5 of the Louisville Cardinals in the first quarter of the Allstate Sugar Bowl at Mercedes-Benz Superdome on January 2, 2013 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

With the 29th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft the New England Patriots selected DT Dominique Easley out of the University of Florida.

Easley, 22, was a three year starter for the Gators. He played in 32 games in parts of four seasons totaling 72 tackles and 18 tackles for loss between 2010-13.

While at Florida, he tore both of his ACL’s one against FSU his sophomore year and another just three games into last season. Due to the injuries he had a redshirt year of eligibility remaining but he decided to forego it for the draft.

Easley can play defensive tackle or end, is a good pass rusher, has run stopping ability and excellent pursuit effort. He is also labeled as relentless, energetic and a hard worker.
