In case you were wondering, here’s how I voted this week:

1. Trent Richardson , Alabama – RB: I have to continue my what have you done for me lately theme here in the voting and that’s only because RG III got injured. Had he not, he’d probably still be No. 1. But that honor goes to Richardson. He’s been overlooked by me and many others but his statement game of 203 yards against Auburn opens your eyes. On the season, he’s rushed for 1583 yards and 20 touchdowns. He’s also caught three touchdown passes.

2. Case Keenum, Houston-QB:  Keenum kept up the strong numbers last week throwing for 457 yards and five touchdowns against Tulsa. He’s led his team to an undefeated season and possibly a BCS berth if the cards fall right for the Cougars. The most impressive number to be though isn’t his 4,726 passing yards and 47 touchdowns, it’s his three interceptions thrown. I’d be shocked if he isn’t among the finalists.

3. Montee Ball, Wisconsin-RB:  Ball definitely has been overlooked here by me and it’s probably because he had been playing in Russell Wilson’s Heisman candidacy shadow. Ball has been putting up astounding numbers all season long and that was no different against Penn State where he ran for 157 yards and 4 touchdowns. He’s got a total of 34 touchdowns on the season (29 rushing, 5 receiving) and has rushed for 1,622 yards.
