Pierce Helps Celtics Past Nets

Boston Celtics: Paul Pierce hit the game-winning jumper with 20.9 seconds to help the Boston Celtics to a 115-111 win over the New Jersey Nets at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, NJ. Pierce led the way  for the Green with 31 points while Rajon  Rondo added 20 points. Kendrick Perkins added 17 points and 13 rebounds while former UConn Husky Ray Allen had 16. Vince Carter led the Nets with 34 points. All-Star Devin  Harris had 25 points and 11 assists while Jarvis Hayes came off the bench to score 16. The Celtics now head to Orlando to take on the Magic on Friday night. [ESPN.com]
