2012 ALCS

With the Detroit Tigers beating the Oakland A’s 3-2 and the New York Yankees taking the series from the Baltimore Orioles 3-2, the matchup is set for the 2012 American League Championship Series.

The Yankees finished with the best record in the American League so they will have home field advantage in the ALCS. The National League holds home field advantage in the World Series by virtue of their win in the 2012 MLB All-Star Game at Kauffman Stadum in Kansas City, MO back in July.
