Video: UConn Men Take Down Washington, 82-70

It was a dog eat dog world in Seattle, WA on Sunday afternoon and it was almost the wrong Huskies who came out on top.

Washington's Nigel Williams-Goss, left, and Mike Anderson, right, defend UConn's Ryan Boatright as he drives to the basket Sunday. After falling behind by 14 points in the first half, Lasan Kromah and a cast of other UConn Huskies sparked a 15-2 run to get them back into the game.

They took the lead for good late in the first half and UConn never looked back from there in an 82-70 win over the Washington Huskies in front of 7,059 at Alaska Airlines Arena.

UConn heads into the Christmas break at 10-1 while Washington falls to 6-5.

Shabazz Napier had 15 of his game-high 20 points in the second half and pulled down six rebounds to lead UConn. Ryan Boatright chipped in with 16 points while Kromah had 14.

DeAndre Daniels rounded out the Huskies in double figures with 10 points.

C.J. Wilcox led Washington with 19 points while Darin Johnson had 13 points. Hartford, CT native Mike Anderson had 10 points and a game-high 10 rebounds for the other Huskies.

UConn returns to action this Saturday when they'll host the Eastern Washington Eagles on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, CT.
