Earlier this afternoon, the UConn Athletic Communications Department put out the below release about UConn Huskies OL Tyler Bullock being suspended from the team.
STORRS, Conn. (October 3, 2013) – University of Connecticut senior center Tyler Bullock (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) has been suspended indefinitely from the team for a violation of team rules by interim head coach T.J. Weist. The University will have no further comment on this matter.
According to John Silver of the Journal Inquirer and other media outlets, Bullock was suspended from the team after being arrested for a DUI early on Thursday morning.
After missing the first game with an ankle injury, Bullock has been filling in on the offensive line with Kevin Friend being out. With Bullock being suspended, the offensive line depth takes a hit, something right now it can not afford.
