UConn Huskies Depth Chart For Central Florida

UConn Huskies @ UCF Knights

UConn Huskies interim head coach T.J. Weist released his depth chart for Saturday's game against the Central Florida Knights and there are changes to it.

With Gus Cruz sidelined indefinitely with cardiovascular symptoms (shortness of breath), Tyler Bullock, who is back from suspension and played on Saturday, takes over at right guard. Tyler Samra, who got the start on Saturday, backs up Bullock.

Shakim Phillips, who also saw significant time on Saturday, has returned to the two-deep as one of the starters at wide receiver. He is backed up by Dhameer Bradley who was listed as the back up to Geremy Davis last week. Deshon Foxx now backs up Davis with Kamal Abrams off the two-deep.

Defensively, Marquise Vann takes over as one of the starting linebackers for Ryan Donohue who backs up Vann. Brandon Steg now backs up Yawin Smallwood instead of Vann. With Taylor Mack still injured, Jhavon Williams steps in as the starting cornerback. David Stevenson, who also had his suspension lifted, backs up Williams.

The last change is that Lyle McCombs is now the punt returner with Brian Lemelle as his backup. The week before it was McCombs backing up Lemelle.
