UConn Huskies Depth Chart For SMU

UConn Huskies @ SMU Mustangs

UConn Huskies interim head coach T.J. Weist released his depth chart for Saturday's game against the SMU Mustangs and there are a few changes to it with both of them coming on the defensive side of the ball.

With Ty-Meer Brown still suffering from a stinger from a hit in practice, Andrew Adams moves into Brown's position as one of the safeties. Redshirt freshman Jordan Floyd will take over as the backup to Obi Melifonwu.

Taylor Mack and Jhavon Williams switch roles this week with Mack listed as the starter and Williams as his backup.

Despite what Weist said this past Saturday, Tim Boyle remains as the starting quarterback on the depth chart. Like I said earlier, I still think the competition is open during the week between Boyle, Casey Cochran and Chandler Whitmer with a decision made at gametime on Saturday.

Deshon Foxx remains on the two-deep after suffering a stinger in the loss on Friday. This could mean that he should be able to play but we saw how long Mack was out with his so who knows. I guess we'll find out more about this and the QB situation on Tuesday.
