UConn Huskies Depth Chart For Rutgers

Rutgers Scarlet Knights vs UConn Huskies

Fresh off the first win of the 2013 season, UConn Huskies interim head coach T.J. Weist released his depth chart for Saturday's game against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights and there are some changes in regards to the backups.

Ty-Meer Brown is still out so he's off the depth chart with Andrew Adams starting. Jordan Floyd backs up Obi Melifonwu. This really isn't a change as Weist said it was a mistake putting Brown on the depth chart last week.

As far as the back ups go, Xavier Hemingway is now the back up at left and right tackle. Richard Levy had been the backup to Dalton Gifford. Speaking of Gifford, he's still the starter at right tackle but is also the backup to Tyler Bullock at right guard which takes Tyler Samra off the depth chart.

Besides being the starting right guard, Bullock backs up left guard Steve Greene. Zach Rugg had been Greene's backup last week.

With Jhavon Williams missing last week's game after suffering a concussion in practice, Javon Hadley is listed as the backup to Taylor Mack.

Weist did say on Sunday's conference call that he hopes to get RT Kevin Friend and Williams back as well as WR John Green. He didn't offer an update on Sean McQuillan who missed the game with a rib injury but he is still listed as the starter at tight end.
