UConn Huskies Depth Chart For Memphis

Memphis Tigers vs UConn Huskies

UConn Huskies interim head coach T.J. Weist has released the final game depth chart of the season for Saturday's Senior Day game against the Memphis Tigers and there are a few changes to it.

Both of the big changes are on the offensive side of the ball where Deshon Foxx is now listed as the starter at wide receiver instead of Shakim Phillips. Kamal Abrams moves in Foxx's backup spot to Geremy Davis at the other wide receiver position.

The other big change is at tight end. E.J. Norris takes over as the starting tight end for Sean McQuillan, who's been out with a rib injury. Spencer Parker remains as the backup.

Despite missing the second half with an elbow injury, Jesse Joseph remains the starter at defensive end. His backup Angelo Pruitt injured his foot during the game but did return.

On his Sunday conference call, Weist said it's possible Joseph could play if they brace his elbow. He also said Pruitt should be good to go on Saturday.

"Jesse had some damage to his elbow, we don’t know yet whether it’s a strained ligament," said Weist. "We may be able to brace him up. He’ll be day-to-day but it’s nothing too serious. We have to wait for the swelling to go down. With the elbow, sometimes you can brace that thing up and play."

“Angelo should be OK," Weist said. "He came back and played and he was OK this morning, it wasn’t serious. We think he’ll be all right."
