After losing one of the final spots on the Boston Red Sox roster to Chris Carter, Jeff Bailey was assigned to minor league camp. Also reassigned to minor league camp were pitchers Enrique Gonzalez and Fernando Cabrera.

Bailey hit .356/.455/.600 with 1 home run and 8 RBIs in 45 at-bats during spring training. All three will most likely end up on the roster of the Pawtucket Red Sox.

Somehow I missed this in the evening roundup.
