Here is the full interview conducted by ESPN’s Peter Gammons with Alex Rodriguez about ARod’s use of performance-enhancing drugs.
Selena Roberts statement on allegations made by ARod during the interview:
“The allegations made by Alex Rodriguez are absurd,” said Roberts, in the statement. “I’ve never set foot in the lobby of Alex’s New York apartment building, never spoken to the University of Miami police, and never set foot on his home property or been cited by the Miami Police for doing so.”
Sports Illustrated statement:
“Sports Illustrated stands by the story and the professional manner in which it was reported. Selena Roberts is a distinguished journalist and her reporting in this case led to Alex Rodriguez’s admission that he used performance-enhancing drugs.”
A-Rod was grasping by trying to attack Selena Roberts. Admit you took steroids and let that be the end of it. You look bad by attacking the messenger.
Exactly. All he did was probably help her sell even more books now.

It’s ironic how Alex in the interview said that “New Yorkers like honesty, and players that know how to win”. I guess that’s why He’s not liked in NY. He’s not honest or a winner. Hey Arod, why should anyone believe that you haven’t been taking steroids since 1995?
He never did answer where he got them, he went right back to he knows he took them, and regrets it. If you regret it, then spit it out like the seeds u spit during game time. I love the yankees, but recently I am an embarrassed Yankee fan. Arod, I feel bad for you, and this interview didnt help, your not fooling me.
True he never did actually say where he got the stuff from. He just kept saying GNC but one of the steroids he took wasn’t available in the US so he had to have gotten it from somewhere.
let me try to make this as simple as possible, he seemed very shady, and my mom if he was my friend would have told me to stay away from him, hes no good (moms always know best). The only reason hes upset is due to the nature of his life, he was a hero to so many people, and now hes frowned upon, I feel bad for hm, but I still don’t feel as if he apologized.
The make-up lady missed his left power alley. If you’re gonna go carrot-top on your mug, at least cover your entire face!
