I just got an email from Jere from A Red Sox Fan In Pinstripe Territory with links to the MLB shop for the new Boston Red Sox road uniforms and the alternate logo. We have already seen the alternate logo but here it is.

And here’s a link to the Cool Base alternate road jersey. You can click directly on each picture above to be taken to the MLB.com Shop. Once the official unveiling takes place, I will post pictures. I’m curious to see what the backs of the road uniforms will look like.
The alternate road uniform looks like another BP jersey to me.
UPDATE:Here are the official details on the uniforms and hat.
The alternate road uniform will be a combination of the blue jersey above with white pants and the new “Hanging Sox” logo hat above. The “Hanging Sox” logo hat will also be worn with the red alternate home jersey as well.
The “Hanging Sox” is now the primary Red Sox logo replacing this one 
. The primary home uniforms have not undergone any changes and will stay the same. The “B” hats will still be worn with the primary home and road uniforms. Like the new uniforms? See them up close and personal on cable tv!

No these are the new uniforms and primary logo. The new logo will be used with the alternate home and road uniforms.
I sorta like the hat but i do not like the new away jersey at all, its just blah no color. I also like the alternate away that is a nice touch but i think if they had left everything alone it would be fine also.

I think the new away jerseys are atrocious; they have all teh appearance of New York on them!
I think that keeping those teams separate, even in Uniform is for the best, but this is a step backward. Use teh alternated prior to the first unis
I like the hanging Sox logo but it looks funny on the hat with the uniform.
Coming from the crowd that they’re trying to please(younger)… i personally think the jerseys are sweet. I may not be a fan of the Red Sox but i might have to rock some of this new gear. My basketball team just got new jerseys, and i hate to break it to you conservatives, but change is good. New is better, and these jerseys are awesome. They look as if were in the year 2008!!! I have to laugh at everyone complaining about the gray uniforms. I’m an known Boston hater and even I noticed exactly what they are. An update of the classic Sox away uniform. They look like the Yankees! Umm, no. They look like what Ted and Yaz would wear if they played today. I thought the Nation were die-hards?

The hat sucks. I’m not sure what it needs but it needs something. Bigger maybe. More of a retro vibe to it. Something. But that away gray is what a classic baseball jersey should be. HUGE props to the organization if they come up with a heathered gray/flannel version that is wearable in the heat.
I agree 289. I’m not a big fan of the cap at all. Especially once I saw it on Manny Delcarmen in the pictures from the unveiling. I love the road uniforms and the classic look to them . The only thing really modern about them is adding the new logo on the sleeves.
The primary road uniform and alternate road uniform will have the names on the jersey while the primary home uniform and alternate red uniform will not have the names.

I like everything but the hanging sox hat.
That seems to be the consensus Wil. While I like the hat I don’t. I don’t like it in the sense it just doesn’t look right. Plus like 289 said, it’s too small.
That hat is more for the minor leagues.
I like the hats, but looks bad with the unies…..Plain is good. It does not matter what you wear as long as you win. GO SOX !
I was thinking about buying one of the new hats until I saw it is $10.00 more than all of the other MLB caps. But I di still like it.
Good thing I don’t care about baseball, otherwise I’d be puking right now…

The answer is money. But I just checked some other teams. Seems they have all raised their prices. My mistake. Still too much for me. I will keep the old one on my noggin.

Tim that’s more understandable if everyone raised their prices which is ridiculous in my opinion. But something tells some people will still spend the money. Like you, I’ll wait.
Everyone hop on the Red Sox bandwagon. Btw the unis are sweet. Thats how they looked many years ago and it looks cool. Im a yankee fan but i have to say that these are pretty nice. Red Sox Nation??? i dont get it. they should call it except for true boston fans in new england and a few other exceptions “Bandwagoners since 2004″ cause that what that jokes about.

I like the new cap, but I don’t like the retro feel of the new road jersey, the old one was much better.
I think the hat would be a cool two tone. Red bill blue cap. Many teams have tried this and the results are success.

The away uniform suck. They have had the best luck when they have more red in the uniform. They look like they could be Yankee uniforms . What is with the black socks? The looks especially horrible. They are destined to loose if they can even wear red socks.
I like the new road uniform. I think the Boston on the front reminds me of the classic jersey of Williams and the sox on the side sleeve is a nice color complement. Good job with this design!
