During the EJ’s Neat-O Stat of the Night portion of the TBS broadcast after the ALCS Game 4 massacre, Dennis Eckersley was once again the sacrificial lamb as he was picked him on yet again, this time for it being the 20th anniversary (October 15, 1988) of Kirk Gibson hitting the memorable home run off him in the 1988 World Series. However they did trick him up a little. I’ll let the video explain.
Can you imagine if that really had happened? I can’t.

That is funny. I totally missed that. I’m stealing this for my blog (giving you guys total credit, of course). Actually, I think I already linked to this.
I think you linked to it earlier this week not sure though. Don’t worry about it. You got anything for me to run with in the weekly links post I forgot about today. Actually I didn’t forget more than just didn’t do it since I had to drive an hour to my parents house to only watch UConn lose 12-10 to Rutgers.
I checked and I linked to the one where EJ asked Eck how Fenway got its name. I did this in the last hour.
