All ALCS games will be broadcast on TBS. Chip Caray, Buck Martinez and Ron Darling will have the call. NESN will be broadcasting 1 hour before and soon as the TBS coverage is over after the game.
If you’re smart and have a DVR, synch up the television feed to Joe Castiglione and Dave O’Brien on the Boston Red Sox Radio Network.

Yay…..another series with the horrible TBS broadcasting team! Their sideline reporter, Carl Sager, looks like he is straight out of the movie Anchorman.

You’d think TBS was a local St. Pete station the way Chip Caray calls the game. Is it me or does he get a little too excited every time a Ray makes contact with the ball? I miss Don & Jerry!

T-Dawg Chip Caray is openly rooting for Tampa Bay. His wikipedia entry has been edited since last night but I saved the page.
Here are the two best entries, which of course are no longer on the page:
1. “Caray is currently the main play-by-play broadcaster for TBS MLB Sunday alongside rotating analysts Ron Darling and Buck Martinez. He also works several Atlanta Braves games for Peachtree TV. Chip is a legend in broadcasting.”
2. “Chip’s (broadcast style) resembles both his father and his grandfather. Chip’s style is chatty, focused, yet effusive. He has been criticized by some and praised by others for interjecting his game analysis and being extremely subjective while delivering play-by-play, breaking the mold of one man strictly doing play-by-play and another offering color commentary, a style developed by his Atlanta Braves mentors.”
“Caray has been criticized for making factual mistakes during postseason broadcasts. Most recently, he has clearly been anti-Red Sox in his commentary on TBS during the 2008 playoffs. This lack of professionalism makes one wonder whether or not he is where he is only because of his father.”
