With Alex Rodriguez and the New York Yankees coming to town this weekend, we all know that the Boston Red Sox faithful are going to be all over him for his alleged relationship with Madonna.

Well how could we boo Mariano? That guy has blown so many games against the Sox that it’s as if he’s a card carrying member of Red Sox Nation. As I recall, since I was there, the largest ovation during opening day in 2005 was given to none other than Mr Mariano Rivera. The proof as they say is in da puddin.

It wasn’t just those 4, it was everyone who represented the Red Sox at the ASG.
I think Mariano has reached a certain level of respect with Red Sox fans. We know he’s good and while most teams don’t like to see him come in at the end of the games, the Red Sox do because they’ve had some success against him.
Hey Spazman, Mo was not even at the allstar game in 99. He got picked but was not able to go. How about getting your facts straight. Jeter did get a very nice ovation at the game. Boston fan’s realized it was an allstar game. Yankee fans can not do that even when it is for homefield. Oh wait homefield does not matter to a team like the Yankees that lose in the first round in October. That is if they even make it this year.

Yeah, I thought I could get the point across without naming all 7. The point being, if you’re a Red Soxin Yankee Stadium, you’re gonna get booed. If you’re a Yankee in Fenway, you’re gonna get booed. Its part of the game.
As for the “hand” for Jeter? Wasn’t it actualy a cheer for Nomar when Jeter came out to replace him in the 5th iunning? The cheering for Rivera was sarcastic and mocking until Rivera tipped his cap. C’mon, how obvious was it? I remember watching it on a plane and laughing my ass off when Red Sox fans started mocking Rivera. Obviously, he was amused by it as well because he played along.
You are going to get a hostile reaction in your rival’s park. It’s just that simple. And it’s part of the game, as long as it doesn’t get physical ab you don’t attack someone’s family or personal life.
The Madonna masks are funny the moment the vendors on River Ave. start selling “Manny sucks, Papi swallows” shits. Oh, wait, that’s more of a Landsdowne street thing…

One of those photos is from the TD BankNorth Garden. The women has a yellow, black and white bruins ticket in her and she is clearly holding a bruins cup and sitting in a yellow seat.
BTW, Bruins games get some hot chicks but its too bad its so cold out theyre usually all covered up.
