The New England Patriots have announced that they have signed their 2nd round draft pick cornerback Terrence Wheatley. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Wheatley had 154 tackles for the Colorado Buffaloes in his 4-year career and had 14 touchdowns, 2 of which were returned for touchdowns.
The signing of Wheatley leaves their 1st round draft pick Jerrod Mayo as the only unsigned draft pick.
The Patriots also filled out their 80-man roster with the free agent signing of offensive lineman Lavdrim Bauta. Terms of his contract were not disclosed.
