Manny Ramirez

In honor of our (Boston Red Sox) enigmatic left fielder Manny Ramirez celebrating his 36th birthday today, I had wanted to bring you the Top 10 Manny Being Manny moments from Baseball Tonight once again. But since Red Lasso pulled the clip from their site, we will have to settle for the high-five catch again. It never gets old. Of course you can always check out the musical montage NESN did for his 499th home run the other night.

Kevin Cash has been counted on behind the plate this season.

Josh Beckett needs to step it up with Daisuke Matsuzaka out.

Julian Tavarez lost his World Series ring before he left the Red Sox.

Jon Lester has not felt comfortable talking about cancer.

The Boston Red Sox have not been hitting the ball well on this road trip.

If you missed the chat yesterday with Jerry Remy, you can check out the archive over at the NESN Playground.

For more slices of Boston Red Sox goodness, head over to the Boston Globe, Boston Herald, Hartford Courant and Providence Journal websites.

    Oy Julian, you knucklehead!
I will never get tired of seeing Manny’s high 5 catch, one of his best moments! Happy Birthday Manny.
Also, Does anyone know approx what section that is where that dude was that Manny high 5′ed?

  • Ian

It looks like he did in the lower left field box seats around section 84.

    Thanks Ian!
