Brad MillsWith Boston Red Sox manager Terry Francona out for the next two nights due to the death of his mother-in-law, bench coach Brad Mills has the honors of managing the team the next two days. He is 5-3 as the “skipper” of the Red Sox while Tito has been away or suspended.

Julio Lugo still isn’t ready to play yet as he recovers from the concussion suffered on Friday night and neither is Jacoby Ellsbury although Ellsbury will probably be back in the lineup tomorrow afternoon.

Balloting has gotten underway for the 2008 MLB All-Star Game to be held at Yankee Stadium. Let’s get voting to make the Boston Red Sox have a huge presence at our hated rival’s stadium. Make sure that you include Jacoby Ellsbury on your list by putting him in the write-in category.

Could the Red Sox try and land another Japanese pitcher in Yu Darvish? His father would like to see him wearing a Red Sox or Yankees uniform.
