Instead of the media voting on the MLB Rookies of the Month for both leagues, this year we as fans get to choose the AL & NL Rookies of the Month for April.
Our very own Jacoby Ellsbury is one of the 4 American League nominees. Greg Smith from the Oakland A’s, former Boston Red Sox prospect and current Texas Ranger David Murphy and Detroit starting pitcher Armando Galarraga, who the Red Sox will face tonight, are the other nominees.
Let’s do Jacoby proud by voting for him to win the American League Rookie of the Month for April. To vote, click here. Voting ends tomorrow night at midnight, so vote as many times as you are allowed.
UPDATE: As Christin points out in her comment, you have to be 18 & up. So for the younger Jacoby lovers, have your parental figures do the voting for you.
