Maybe it was the friendly confines of Fenway Park? Or as Steve pointed out in an email, maybe Youk gave him some of his Slumpbuster drink. Whatever it is, I hope it continues for David Ortiz as he hit a grand slam during tonight’s Boston Red Sox – Texas Rangers game.
Two things to take note of in this video (courtesy of NESN).
- Look at the sign at the beginning of the video and look where the grand slam goes.
- Look at what the Red Sox do to him in the dugout. You’d think he was a rookie with that reception.
