Blonde Hottie Favorite To Replace Tina Cervasio

April 1st, 2008 by Ian · 5 Comments ·

Heidi WatneyDavid Scott from Scott’s Shots at Boston Sports Media Watch has the inside scoop on who may replace Tina Cervasio as the Red Sox Reporter.

Shots has learned that NESN held an audition for its Red Sox Reporter position over the weekend and that the “contestant” was received well by those who have the power to hire. While no imminent decision is expected, Shots has confirmed that former Miss San Diego (Calif., 2000-03), Heidi Watney, is the odds-on favorite to replace Tina Cervasio as the regional sport network’s sideline reporter. Watney had her tryout in Los Angeles while the crew was there over the weekend. It was done entirely off-air.

Here’s a sampling of work at her previous employer. And you can click here for her YouTube Channel.

I know Steve might be disappointed with this since it might not be Kathryn Tappen but Heidi is definitely not hard on the eyes at all and could win his affections.

For those coming here in searches, here is a post about her first night of work on NESN.

Heidi is starting tomorrow night in Detroit. She was just on with RemDawg and Orsillo in the booth. I’ll have the video up in a bit.

I thought she was great and handled herself with humor, a necessity for a pretty girl.

I am from the central valley in California, the local Fox news fired her. What a huge mistake, I tuned in just to watch her and pleasure myself nightly. I no longer watch that news with the ugly old bags doing the sports and news. I miss me some Heidi!
