Daisuke Matuszaka’s wife Tomoyo has given birth this morning to a 6 lb 10 ounce bouncing baby gyroball boy. The name has not been released nor has where she gave birth. Matsuzaka was with her at the time of birth and he should be back in camp in a few days.
Matsuzaka had not been expected to make the trip to Japan due to his wife’s pregnancy but now that she has given birth, he’s expected to make the trip.
Congratulations to Dice-K and Tomoyo on the birth of their son.

it was supposed to be a spring training without so many stories and then all heck broke loose. It does seem as though things are starting to fall back into place now.
