NBAE/Getty Photo. The Boston Celtics went into Memphis and absolutely dismantled the Grizzlies making them look no better than a playground pick-up team with a 119-89 win at the FedEx Forum on Saturday night. It was also a night of milestones for two of the teams stars.

The 30-point blow out was the 8th win in-a-row for the Green and the second in back end of a home and road back-to-back after they ripped Chicago on Friday night in Boston.

The Celtics were led by former UConn Husky Ray Allen with 23 points and in the process scored his 18,000th career point. Paul Pierce had 19 points and Kevin Garnett had 17 points and 8 rebounds. During the game, Garnett got to 20,000 points and 11,000 rebounds which are sure fire, see you in Springfield, Hall of Fame type numbers.

The Grizzlies were paced by Hakim Warrick who had 15 points, former UConn standout Rudy Gay had 13 points and Mike Conley chipped in with 11 in the lackluster effort.

The Celtics, who are now 49-12 with 21 games left, move onto Philly and a date with the Sixers on Monday night.
