I don’t follow a lot of golf, never have, but I am enough a sports nut to have a slight interest and I don’t mind playing as well.
Arnold Palmer’s prime was before my time, I remember Jack Nicklaus as a kid and then guys like Tom Watson, Tom Kite, Seve Ballesteros, Greg Norman and others came along and had a few good runs. But they weren’t Jack or Arnie.
But with all due respect to anyone who has ever played that game, if Tiger Woods is not the best golfer we’ve ever seen I’ll gladly wash your (golf) balls.
Down four shots in the final round of the Dubai Desert Classic Woods won on the final hole earlier today.
Two tournaments, two wins. You have to think that if he keeps this up he will have a great shot at winning all four majors in the same year. It’s going to be fun to watch.
And you ever notice that Tiger has a bit of New England Patriot in him? Anytime some punk talks a little smack, Woods turns his lights out.
Bill Belichick must be proud.
