My UConn Huskies men’s team fell a few votes short of getting into the top 25 but the women’s team is holding strong at the top spot despite the loss of Mel Thomas and Kalana Greene. Here’s a look at the rest of the top 25.

Although UConn is on the outside looking in, people are starting to realize how tough the Big East really is, and everyone will beat each other up for the rest of the season.
Most definitely TRC. They have already begun doing that.
Pittsburgh’s been hit by injuries, UConn with the suspension but I fully expect a battle with everyone the rest of the season.
The Big East tournament is going to be fun this year.
As long at it’s better than the last 3 ‘Cuse-filled tournaments, I’ll be happy.
UConn just needs to talk all this in stride, stupid losses like PC are going to happen when you play so many in-league games. But I think Calhoun has them on the right track now…just keep the ball in Craig’s hands near the end of the game.
