Stand Up Bill

Those that accuse New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick of not having a sense of humor, have never seen or been to one of his press conferences.

This comes from Mike Reiss from the Boston Globe’s Reiss’ Piece’s blog:

presserPatriots coach Bill Belichick held his Thursday press conference (10:50 a.m.) at Gillette Stadium. It didn’t take long before he was asked about QB Tom Brady and his health.

“I don’t have any comment on it,” Belichick said.

Asked if Brady would have a full workload in practice, Belichick said: “We’ll go out there and I don’t know. The injury report will be out next Wednesday, and we’re excited to give that to you. I can’t wait to give that to everybody.”

That drew some laughter by those in the media workroom.

I understand he closed with “try the veal, I’ll be here all week”.

I refuse to visit those sites, I wont click the link it think all it does it justify what those people are doing. I wont write about anything they generate, the exception being on monday the use of the photo because they were the only ones and the injury at that time was actually a “news” story. And in hindsight I’m not sure I would use the photo if I had to do it again.

As someone with a friend who is a legit photographer what these people do is on a whole different level of indecent and privacy invasion. And I refuse to glorify it but visiting any site like that.

Call them stalkerazzi all you want but by doing so and linking to it you’re just giving them a platform to push their goods.
