Day 6 of the offseason and the Boston Red Sox made some more moves as far as their roster goes. They picked up the options on the contracts of Tim Wakefield and Julian Tavarez. They also picked up Sean Danielson from the St. Louis Cardinals as the PTBNL in the Joel Piñero deal. John Farrell also made it official that he wasn’t in the running anymore for the Pirates job.
