It’s amazing that he’s been around since 1995. In this day and age of free agent signings, you usually don’t see them stay too long unless they get a mega-deal. With Wake that wasn’t the case obviously, but he has been in key cog in the Red Sox revival. 17 wins at age 41 is something special.
