Agent Zero, Gilbert Arenas, has his sights on something that is not a basketball. Agent Zero would like to purchase Barry Bonds 756th home run ball from fashion mogul Marc Ecko. Arenas feels very strongly that Bonds’ ball should not be branded with an asterisk.
“It’s history. It’s still history. I mean, the guy’s a man before he’s some big slugger,” he added. “I mean, how you just going to take what this man’s done for his career and … say, ‘Hey, you were accused of this. You allegedly did this. I want to take this away from you.’? I mean, what if we took away your Ecko company? I mean, why graffiti the ball?”
Agent Zero has taken it to his blog and called out Ecko saying that he wants to buy the ball.
I’ll buy the ball from you Ecko for $800,000. If Barry Bonds is found guilty, I’ll give it back to you. I’m not going to let you go around like some little superhero.
I’ll put it in my hall of fame. The Gilbert Hall of Fame for Athletes no matter what you did.
My views on this have differed as of late. After hearing Arenas’ arguments, my mind will probably change again.
No matter what though, you have to love Agent Zero speaking his mind about an important piece of BASEBALL history.

Hey Agent Zero…you do realize that Barry admitted that he used the Cream and the Clear, which are/were steroids, right? Barry can say he didn’t know what they were all he wants to (yeah, like anyone belives that), but he has admitted that he used ‘roids.
Finally! Thank you Matt for pointing out the elephant in the room that everyone ignores.
Barry Bonds numbers have been inflated by steroids no matter what people say about being found guilty or whatnot. The man said he used drugs. Of course, he didn’t know what they were. A professional athlete who makes his entire livelihood with his body put unknown substances into it, not knowing what they were, of course. He put drops of flaxseed oil under his tongue, just like everyone else who takes flaxseed oil.
Agent Zero apparently believes he’s far more significant than he is.
